Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (ULBS) has begun publishing admission results for the 2026–2027 academic year. If you have applied for an MBBS program in Romania as an international student, it is time to start checking the results.
The university has published the initial admission rankings for the July 2026 admissions session. The university has published the ranking lists for non-EU and EU students who applied to the Medicine in English study program.
Where and how to check your result
Important: The university will not inform you of the results via email. You must check the ranking lists regularly and act as soon as you find an update relevant to you.
The University of Sibiu publishes the results on the official faculty website. The ranking lists are available as a PDF, and names are not disclosed to comply with GDPR guidelines. So, you need to find your entry based on the ID assigned to you for the competition. It is different from the application file number.
Remember to check the admissions ranking list for the program you applied for. As an international student, you must check the lists for Medicine (English) and Dentistry (English) for your region, i.e., non-EU or EU. The exception is if you have applied for a program taught in Romanian, in which case you should check that specific ranking list.
The university publishes several files and ranking lists suited to different kinds of applicants. So, it can be overwhelming to find the specific ranking list for your application case. For example, there are lists for Budgeted seats, Romanian citizens, Romanians abroad, EU, non-EU, LEI, and Euro currencies, and language variations. So, it is important to remain focused and check the correct lists. The university only provides a limited number of days to complete the seat confirmation.

What to do after receiving a result
If you are admitted, do not assume your place is automatically secured. The university requires you to confirm your seat within a defined period, typically 3 days. The seat confirmation method is to pay your tuition fees. If you miss the deadline, your secured seat will be transferred to the next eligible candidate on the admission list, and the university will not be held accountable thereafter.
Waiting list? If you're on the waiting list, continue checking the portal and faculty announcements. Places will become available after the first confirmation period, and updated or intermediate lists will be published, giving you even less time to confirm your seat.

Student Queries
A student contacted us to ask whether he could be selected if he did not take the English language test during the admission period. So, the university doesn't give additional chances. If you did not take part in the English test (or have failed it), then the university will not include you in the ranking lists.
